Hello brothers , I hope I find help this time too .... Now I have some questions before start to design the web site and make it ready .. 1- How I can protect my web site from hackers , site breakers , virus and haters ! 2- Of course I will buy Legal vBulletin Forum , So I want to use Two language ( English & Arabic ) .. To do this I have to buy Two copy from the forum ?or I can use 1 copy and install it Two times on my web site database ? But I don't think that's right ! so I think there is way to buy 1 forum and copy it 2 time on the site or some thing like that and get add-on or interface for the 2nd forum and install it or some thing ? mean ... I want to have English forum and Arabic forum on my web site .... 3- I heard about forum add-on " hacks " ?? this add thing to the forum ? what about it and its legal to use them ? and they effect the web site ? So any idea, help , advise ~ I will wait the answer thanks brothers
1. I presume you aren't going to be writing server-side scripting yourself, so to make sure your system can't be compromised just try to always use reputable scripts and keep them up to date. Realistically, though - there aren't millions of hackers sitting just waiting to crack your small-scale site. 2. A vBulletin license entitles you to one online public installation of the software on a single specified domain. You can have one non-public board for testing purposes, too. I believe you could allow the forum to display different language phrases depending on a language selection form, although all of your posts are going to be in one language or the other. If you wanted two seperate forums, you'd need two seperate licenses. Alternatively, you could have half the forums in Arabic and half the forums in English. You could possibly write a selector that automatically displays the correct forums and language phrases depending on the selection however you'd be best asking at vbulletin.com whether this is legal. 3. Hacks are just modifications for vbulletin that add increased functionality. They are all just enthusiast made and usually released on a freeware license. You can generally download them all from vbulletin.org for free.
this what I'm talking about .. 1- lol . I get it but you said " reputable scripts ' this like java scripts and this scripts ? or what you mean with it . but maybe one hacker steal my site ! and steal the forum ? 2- I will go with legal because I don't want them to close my site ! you mean that there is way to make the forum change the interface automatic when show Arabic section , and change in English when show English section ? 3- mean I can find them there and use them and it will still legal and my site will not close .. me will be the king in that site and I will get my close friends to mange the site with me and help me and each one of them know special things so we will be like good crew ! so I don't want the site to go down when it be famous ! 4- one of my friends called me and told me there is a free forum called phpbb ? what about it , its better than VB ? or what .. 5- what about the chat ? thanks
Simply put, no it isn't. There's a reason vBulletin costs £60 a year (iirc) for an annual licence - it's better than the free alternatives. Is it really worth paying for forum software when you haven't currently got any content, and so no way of attracting users to the forum?

this is Very very great fourm .. ITs works well in english and arabic ! I installed 2 of it and it works fine , I will make my own theme and mod the fourm and it will be the best !! why pay ? this thing is rock thanks very much borhter that you told me !
