This thing is almost inhuman. Brilliant work! (How many people would recognize this 'thing' as a computer, with so many special parts and crazy details. ;) )

Thanks, y'all... its certainly a lot of fun to see it all coming together. I wish y'all could see it in person... its just shinin' all over the place and from every angle (even the bottom looks good). :hip:
Kinda matches the wire sleeving now, doesn't it? Accidental, purely accidental. :D
    Yeah, when its done. :hip:
Do you mean the tubing? If so, there's no plan to do that until the hardware's all together. There's just no reason to complicate things with it right now. The skull getting painted... all in good time. The monitors... not bought yet.
That's largely my own doing... not wanting it there until its presentable (and now that the pictures are taken... we'll see). :D

Wooow! That is just freakin' hot! :D

Only question I got when seeing this was: "What is it?!" :eyebrow: It looks really cool, but what is it? I does have a look like an old American 'back to the 60s' radio  But it also has a look like a big fat robot, with a little gun

But, what I really DO know is that it is really be-au-ti-full :thumb: !

I don't think that it's intended to look like anything in particular. It's just a computer case with some general visual and functional themes that have been explained throughout the thread.

Well, "just a computer case" might be selling it a little short. It's an absolutely amazing computer case with certain stylistic themes.

Hehe... no, its not intended to look like something other than itself. Its its own thing (but I do refer to "it" as "her" sometimes :D )

The inspirations for her, however, are strong... certainly the design is inspired by the bubble topped show cars of the sixties, the name is kind of a take-off from the AA altereds of the same era and the paint scheme was inspired by some of the earlier dry lakes racers, the colors... well, I just like 'em.

Its all about havin' a little fun with something. One of my friends calls the design style "controlled insanity".

I may not be following you well, but can say this much... I've liquid cooled a few rather complicated rigs already, and the plumbing in those were a cake walk compared to this. :D

The only hardware installed so far is the mainboard and video cards. They were necessary to get it to the point where all the fabrication is complete. Pretty soon, it will all get taken apart (most of it, anyway), some parts reworked, the radiator pod re-painted (has a couple of flaws), a few things polished, etc. Then the plumbing and wiring can be installed permanently. :hip:
