    Edit: To OC the 1.00G revisions of the striker with a quad in the socket should I flash to the 1002 bios?

    Im running BIOS 1102 on my 1.00G and are experiencing that it is easier to get it stable when overclocking than previous releases...

    I think it's down to the cooling. it came with the AC3 cooler but my rig is water cooled so I bought the EK 8800 GTX block. Its so well made and dropped the temps from 83 load on air to 45 load on water.

    Now I need +2 points to beat your score..... :naughty: Better push a little further

    Ha ha ha.... yes exactly :hehe: didnt want to say anything...

    I'd love to go 12k. But without upgrading to a GTX that seems out of range for me. :sigh:

    [hwbot] capnPedro - 10434 - Point of View 8800GTX @ 645 core, 1040 memory / A64 X2 5200+ @ 3.00Ghz / 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2-6400 [/hwbot]

    Hopefully I'll be pushing my score higher when I get a new case, watercooling and maybe a second card for SLI.

    I don't have the latest and greatest build so I can't register my score. It would take a day or so to download the 380MB program.

    Here's my score on my new setup.

    [IMG]

    Athlon 64 X2 6000+
    2GB Corsair XMS2
    EVGA 8800GTS 640MB
    320GB HD
    Evercool Silver Knight Heatsink
    2x DVD
    600 Watt PSU

    I changed my Nvidia control panel from highest quality to best performance and scored more than 300 points better.

    [IMG]

    I then changed my image settings from Quality to High Performance and bumped my score up another 17 points.

    How you people get such a high score? I only have 1563 :(
    Is it based more on the graphic card?

    my system:
    -> AMD Athlon 64 4400+ S939 2.21Ghz
    -> ASUS A8N32-SLI *Deluxe*
    -> 2x Corsair CMX1024-3200 latency 3.0-3-3-8 2T
    -> X-fi Xtream Music
    -> Geforce 6600GT with 128MB of RAM (I know it suck, but I will get so very soon a 8800GTS 640MB) (I was waiting for the 8000 series since Jan06 :( )

    Wow, that is bad. My other system:

    Abit IC7-G
    P4 3.2GHz EE
    2GB OCZ DDR400
    ATI Radeon 9800XT 256MB
    7.1 Soundblaster

    Scored 3245 in 3DMark06. You should be creaming that score.

    It's probably just the 6600 holding you back, but what operating system have you got? I'm running Vista, which really lowers my score ( :waah: ). If I benched from XP, I'd probably have about an extra 800-1000 points on my score.

    NVIDIA need to hurry up with some better drivers!

    Im sorry but that BS '3245' in 06 with a 9800XT, a single 7800GT 256mb, 2GB and a dual core AMD scores in the region of 2700 to 3000, so how dose an old 9800XT beat that?

    You must mean 324.5!

    GoodBytes i wouldn't worry, my old 7600GS with DDR2 only scored 2587 as it has a better core over the 6600GT. and that was with my opty 165 up at 3GHz, so 1100 points are mostly CPU score. lol
