i really like the wood work and the CAD. excellent job there :D...

may i ask, what exactly is a mill?

i'm continuously browsing these forums on how to do things... planning to initiate a mod with a friend in about 1.5 weeks from now. :) will have to purchase tools and materials along the way.

If you haven't all ready ordered your WC parts I'd recommend you get it from Aquacomputer.de and get the New cuplex XT Double Impact: [IMG]

Looking great, can't wait for the next update :thumb:

he means a router its like a kind of glorified drill which you use special bits in it and it cuts like the ones that he has done you can get loads of different bits for it! its mainly used for wood.

    http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=20535&MAN=Draper-1-4-inch-Plunge-Router-1200w-240v
thats about the cheapest one you can get.

    Hi all !

    UPDATE 5

    I didn't get the things I ordred soo I couldn't do what I had planed :waah: .
but I've got my mobo :

soo I started with the back panel.
I made two holes for the fan and cut out the hole for the ... I toke it from an old aerocool case I have .

Then I wanted to finished the front, I used my dremel but at 3/4 of the hole preparation -it died :waah: :waah: rip my trusty dremel !!

So I improvised ... i drilled some holes and then I used a hammer to get it off and it looked like this :blah: :

    After some sanding :

After a lot of sanding it looks like the other one :

Then I started with the window, I bought a 50x50x0.5 acrylic panel :

I marked out where I must cut :

then I used my jigsaw and some sandpaper and perfect  !

I put it on the side panel to see if it fits :

That's all for now maybe more later today !

    Cya and stay tuned

woohoo! an update at last! pity your stuff didn't arrive, i would love to see them.

man, i hate it how i lack any money :(, i love those aquacomputer parts. The good thing is, if i do get money, i found an etailer that distributes things like the aquatube, aquabay, aquastream internationally, in that they actually send the products to a location out of their country. in my case, china ^^. just got to pay up for the postage.

btw, its a pity that your dremel died :(, but atleast you got around the problem so kudos to that!

Sry if you posted the answer before but why do you want to buy a Aquacomputer waterblock ?? They are really not the best ones and they're really expensive. Good waterblocks are the Alphacool Highflow or NexXxos....

how are you going to mount the plexi on the MDF? and what are you going to use as a frame? and one last question, Are you going to router the fans so that you don't need like 3 inch screws to mount them? im going to build a mdf case soon and am you are teaching me a lot!

    small Update

Hi all and thanx for the comments !!

@ Handon : The alphacool block are realy good but I prefeer the look of the
aquacomputer waterblock .The alphacool Highflow have the same price as the aquacomputer cuplex XT where I buy my wc parts.

@ fungry : Aren't there any online shop where you can buy wc stuff?? That sounds strange.

@ Teyber :For mounting the plexi on the side panel I'm gonna use, I will not use a frame and I'm not 100% sure yet how I will do for the fans but I think I will router them in place.

:D I recieved my stuffs this morning and here they are :

Ther's two aquatubes, two twinplex XT Chipset water blocks ,two covers for the aquatube and two 30cm white cold cathodes.

(don't mind the color of the aquatubes I'm gonna paint them orange later)

I directly put the water block on the mobo :

But as stupid as I am, I forgot to order the ... (I don't know the name :worried: but it look's like that ) :duh:

And now for the dremel ! I think I have the warranty somewhere -I gotta find it !
    :worried:

Cya and next update will probably be next wednesday

    Going nice.
Are these 120mm fans at the back?

I thought it would be nice to paint the ress black but orange will be the theme of the mod right?

    Boxcarhobo,
the fans at the back are 80mm. For the res I didn't think about that, But I will do some sketch-up work to see how it looks !
