I'm not sure if this thread is in the right section but I thought it would be best if it was in here :worried:

I've been trying to look for a guide on how to connect my front audio ports on my PC case to my Audigy 2 ZS but with no success so far :wallbash:

I came across this website that states the pin layout for the white connector on the soundcard. Looking at the audio port wires from the PC case, the letters on the individual wires does not match the ones in the diagram. I have the following individual wires:

    Min-in (orange wire)
    Mic-power (red wire)
    L-out (purple wire)
L-ret (white wire, attached to L-out wire)
    R-out (blue wire)
R-ret (yellow wire, attached to R-out wire)
    Ground

Can anyone help me out please?

Has anyone here has success connecting their front audio ports to their Audigy soundcards? :blah:

my guess would be the following:
    Case Audigy
    mic-in . . . . . . . . . . . mic-in
    mic-pwr . . . . . . . . . . voltage mic
    l-out . . . . . . . . . . . . Analog headphone out left
    l-ret . . . . . . . . . . . . audio mute
    r-out . . . . . . . . . . . .Analog headphone out right
    r-ret . . . . . . . . . . . . audio mute
    gnd . . . . . . . . . . . . .analog ground

    My Antec P182 has 10-pin flying connectors for AC97 and HDA arranged in two rows of 5 with the location key at pin#8;

    Code:
    	10-8-6-4-2
    	 9-7-5-3-1
    [I]
    	[B]HD Audio	AC97 Audio[/B][/I]
    #1 - MIC2L MIC in
    #2 - AGND GND
    #3 - MIC2R MIC Power
    #4 - AVCC Not connected
    #5 - FRO-R Line Out (R)
    #6 - MIC2_JD Line Out (R)
    #7 - F_IO_SEN Not connected
    #8 - Key (no pin)
    #9 - FRO_L Line Out (L)
    #10 - LINE2_JD Line Out (L)
