    hi there everyone,
    me and my friend are lookin for a budget gaming laptop and we were wondering which of these two were the better for gaming.

    ya, those didnt seem to do that well
    what is a good budget laptop (between $1,200-$1,400 usd) that would be used for gaming, school etc..

    try and get something with an x1600 mobility. it's a decent card, runs HL2 max detail just fine.

    The Asus G1 is one of the best budget gaming laptops that I know of, it has received good ratings in magazines. That has a GeForce GO 7700.

    ya it seems pretty good but i cant find one within my
    budget(preferable 1000 to 1300 cdn but will go up to 1500)

    does anyone know where of a good website for buying
    laptops?
    I cant seem to find any real good deals on notebooks with the x1600 or any thing with a 7600 or higher (in canada)

    i know i am disapointed by the GFG7400 of my XPS M1210 ... I was expecting a lot more but what can you do, it's still just a laptop and not a gaming rig so it's fine
