definately without mesh, the mesh doesn't fit with the rest of your mod, which makes more use of clean cuts rather than perforation.

I like the mesh. I think it will look great at night with the orange light coming through it. :thumb:

Woohoo my first post! I have followed a lot of these mods on Bit-tech for a long time, but never posted until now. So here we go :)

I would like to suggest the mesh on, just in black like the case. I think it would be nice if the feet werent angled - I mean that if you made it follow the side all the way down to the floor, just in black instead of the alu-mesh you've got in your pictures. The mesh would (possibly) take the bigger dustparticles thus leaving your case cleaner...?

Nevertheless, greeeeeat work man! The fridge could've been better with the peltier INSIDE the case because it's watercooled anyways? (cleaner lines on top) - Love the black/orange combo!!!!!

I think the mesh would look nice, but I think you shouldn't want to go too far. By including the mesh you'd break the simplicity of the overall look of the mod.
Mesh looks nice, but in a real good mod you know when to stop. Often the final result is better when leaving things out.
I'd say keep the idea with the mesh for your next mod.

Dark~3n3rgy @ what a name you’ve got :hehe: Thank you :) My friend did it, think it was 3d studio max he used.

    Dean_mf @ yeah! I think that to!

Frido @ Damark Cheesecake! Ik? ;) Welcome dude. I don’t think it’ll be that good with feets in the same thickness as the case, because the case then would come out very heigh. Also the mesh IS black, the film maybe shine a little back, and make it seems white. I like that the peltier is in the top, because that the outside tubbing really adds something to the front. And thank you :)

Kradhil @ You’ve really got a point there dude! I’m my eyes it looks good with the mesh, but maybe you’re right! I didn’t got the time today, but tomorrow I’ll try light up the fans, and put on the side-window to see if the mesh break the simpelness that much. Thank you for input, it was really useful!

Right now I’m most for the mesh. But tomorrow I’ll decide.

    Update 26 – Feets part 3 @ Thursday the 31st May2007.

    Intro
Wee, ready with another update! ;) Well, first off, I would really like more light to come out from the holes, so need to mount a cathode under, or fix some leds or so. I’ll find out. ;)
Tomorrow i start soldering leds, we need some light in it right? :p. I think when the fridge’s in again, the tubing make it look less sqared.

    The funny part

All right, here we start, a 50*50mm alu piece.

First thing to do on the alu piece: mill down one of the corners.

Then mill down the fist side!

    Last part to mill.

That’s what I’m talking about baby.

    Then some cutting.

    Done and perfect ;)

This is the way the mounting works, hope you can see the idea ;) The holes fit with the holes in the bottom plate.

    Like this.

    Then mounting them.

    Damn, that’s great.

You’ve seen those pictures before, and i decided to got with the mesh.

    The holes got drilled.

    What do you think?

    Some pictures in dark.

Bad that the fans didn’t gave more light. But I’ll fix that, just wait ;)

Now this is what I need to do on the feets. Give the edge some paint and add these felt guys because we don’t want any scratches in the surface it’s on right`? ;)

    Hope you liked it! Cya!

Great that you went for the mesh solution.

This case is one of the best that I have seen - it is compact, but there is still room for some decent hardware and cooling.

    x06jsp @ Thank you dude :)
DJ Ovin @ Thank you, i like yours superman case to, think i have to leave a comment ;)
    The_Beast @ Thanks, we're to then :D
Dean_MF @ Thank you, I really can't wait to. A guy in the Danish forum told me to use 20+ mcd leds, and i think that would be slick ;)
Stubkier @ Oh thank you dude. Denmark Cheesecake  I really like the size to, and I'm maybe moving my 4200+, and 7900gt into this case. The only problem would be the harddrives, and i don't know if it's possible to build some kind of harddrive box. And how does the connection to the computer then work?
