Ok out of nowhere I'm getting this problem. I go into network connections, then I try to disable my lan connection and enable my wireless and bamm... "Error Disabling Connection- It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may have one or more protocals that do not support Plug-and-Play" What the heck? I've tried a scan on my antivirus software - failed Ran adaware - failed Disabled uPnP - failed I can disable either in the device manager but anytime I tried to enable the wireless I get a "connection failed". Any help?
do you have the correct drivers installed? do you have the correct settings on them (like, they dont both have the same ip, or something like that) are there any resource conflics? (right click my computer > properties > hardware > device manager) any red Xs, or yellow !s or anything like that? bios update? try reinstalling/updating the drivers for each device, you can even use the device manager, and remove/uninstall the device, and then reboot, and windows should re-find them..
Windows xp Compaq 601c It was working fine. I could disable it left and right. All the drivers are fine. It just suddenly would not allow a disable.
