    Finishing the windows

    Hi Guys!

Today i did more work on the windows, i cut out the mesh and the plexi and made some overview photo's with that i place, also some small things i had to do where done.

First i cut the mobo frame to get the PSU properly in place:
You can still see the freshly cut metal.

After that i made a notch in the mobo tray so the wires could pass:
Those wires will be held in place with some zipties, so the sidepanel fits on.

Also i played around with the pump placement of the bottom system:
This is an eheim 1250 in a smaller housing just like G-gnome did in his orac3

To do this you have to put the pump on a diet:
Getting rid of the front "grill" parts you don't need also a lot of plastic got cut off.

Also the back got an threatment:
Taking of the back and stripping the cabel to make it fit.

The mesh temporarely taped in place:

After i put all the panels in place:

    A shot from the back:

I really like the ventilation grill.

A closeup of the bottom window:

Here you can see i still have to file the edges and that i taped the windows in place for the photo.

And a final shot of the radiator through the top window:
It worked like i wanted, the front of the radiator sitting parallel with the windows edge.

To bad the resizing (and my camera) makes all edges look crocked even the radiator looks like it edge is cut.

Also just another thing on the windows, the case will be matt black an the windows will probably get some nice dark window tinting, so there is nothing to see until you turn on the lights.

    Hope you guys like it:D

    Regards, Bas van der Werff.
