i thoought of that. still lookin for a way to stick thin glass to cf. the resin itself gets scratches 2 easy.

awesome job  design & lighting & carbon & all construction rocks
im sure im not the only one that wants this: you explained how you made the carbon panels on page 2, but maybe you could use a few pics so we can see exactly what each step actually means. and maybe mention the brands of products you used. im sure your title will become "carbon god" soon

i am sorry i dont have pix from the different stages. when the resin and the hardener where put together i had to hurry up. there was no time to take of the gloves and do some shots.
in theory it´s kinda simple. add a thin layer of gelcoat .. maybe a second one for savety reasons, let them harden, add some resin , put the cloth on the wet surface and then you start pushing the small bubbles out. the last step is, of course, the most difficult one. i cant describe it better, you just need some practice

Is the whole mouse covered with carbon?

The 'Handballenauflage' seeems to be wavy, is it right?

no not the whole mouse just the top section, the formerly grey plastic piece.

How about the monitor? Or would it be totally overkill? LOL :)

Superb CF work dude!!! - Maybe you should get you a black icemat to complete the theme? Or just glue some CF beneath the icemat so it would seem like a hazy CF-mat? Understand what I mean? I hope so :)

more cf would definitly be overkill. iam still not shure if it was a good idea to add some to mouse n keyboard.
the monitor is fine as it is. black, glossy and clean like many parts of the case itself. however a black icemat would definitly be very cool
