Does anyone have a template for the EATX form factor ?

I need the measurements for all the holes for a EATX motherboard.

 

Hey what's the size of a average hard drive bays and a cd/dvd drive bay?

 

Does anyone have dimensions for Low Profile expansion slots?
Like, where you put your PCI and AGP cards, but in low profile form.

I'd like dimensions and mountingholes for slimline CD/DVD drives too, as i'm sketching something in sketchup.

Does anyone have the exact dimensions for a flex atx rear panel?
I mean the size of the holes for the PCI cards and the I/O panel on the backside of the chassis.
Unfortunally the link on page 1 of this thread seems to be dead...plus I'm not sure if ATX and flex ATX are using the same standards...

More than a year late, but hey better late than never.

E-ATX, known as Extended (very important in Google search (Embedded likes to get into the results) should really be known more by SSI EEB form factor.

I'm currently modding a motherboard tray from ATX to EEB, importantly you need CPU mounting holes. Ie the heatsinks bolt directly to the chassis instead of being secured to the motherboard.

Ok my first post and i am hoping that you guys -girls to, I know you are out there- can help me out.

Have an idea for a case and it is going to be my first, Now I have been searching the internet for almost a year for the right measurements of the back plate of the case. And it has been a lot of reading and comparing.
Now I would like to ask you to help me with the drawing I made and tell me if the measurements are right. I am a bit of a perfectionist.
I will change the numbers if needed and this will of course be for all to use as well. It is all done in mm, I hope that that isn't a problem?



The right bottom corner where it says 4.1 mm is based on the use of a 6.35mm [0.25"] stand-of (most commonly used there is no standard)minus the distance between Motherboard bottom side and I/O shield. that distance is 2.23mm [0.088"]
The right and left side are obviously open to change depending on hight of case the bottom will be where the top of the motherboard tray will be.
As also shown there are no folding lines drawn so if you are using this take that in to account. I am trying to work out a template for Motherboard tray holes as well...

@ D-Mon Taurus - It looks good to me.

It would be great if you would mark the location of the standoff that lands between the first expansion slot and the I/O shield cutout.

 

@spotwood. First of my thanks.
The first standoff as you call it i am guessing you mean the part between the I?O shield and first slot.
From what i read.
The center of the first slot is located 0,5inch or 12,7mm from the I/O shield cutout. Knowing the slot is again a 0,5inch wide the rest will be the standoff. so that would mean a 6,35mm or 0,25inch.

my main concern and the part i am not sure of is the length of the slots. The measurements you see here are made by looking at a bracket. same goes for the screw holes for the slots

 

From the PCI Express documentation. fig 6-2 ...the opening starts 10,16 from underneath the lip of the card bracket and extends downward 89,90.
