TV Shows Jekyll

Anyone else been watching this? First two episodes (of six) have been pretty good so far. It's a interesting new twist on the old story what with the main character being married and actually having to deal with the consequences of what his "dark" side / Hyde does.

Anyone got any ideas on how Tom can be a direct descendant of Dr Henry Jekyll (even though Jekyll had no children.)? My theory is that "Hyde" is the one that has reproduced with out the original Jekyll's knowledge and thus managed to keep the family tree going.

That may be one point, but they say "Direct Descendants", Tom could have been related indirectly, via a brother or sister of the original Jekyll.

I'd like to know how his (non)-mum got out of that room tbh.

And Michelle Ryan is fit when not in Eastenders shouting and screaming.

 

Its a good program with some class acting.

it's pretty good, I liked the lion scene .

 

The lion scene was great, this weeks episode looks interesting. Looks like Tom has some explaining to do to his wife.

Hyde can't get thru walls I don't think. He just plays tricks on your mind.

Lion bit was truly awesome, especially the song, may try that when I go to a Safari park.

Loved the way he killed that government guy then just said to the others "Do you want to defend him? Or just leave?"

 

Yeah fantastic episode, this series just gets better.

Now that his wife knows that he is two people. I loved the way she tied him up and taunted him a bit. Seems Hyde is getting attached to Tom's family unintentionally. Intriguing how a cure has existed for ages.

But I'm unsure about who/what runs the organisation? It seems a very heavy handed way of going round things, whereas simply talking to Tom before it got too far would have been easier and more efficient.

The longer Hyde and Tom coexist the more they "merge" into one another? Eventually becoming one person?

 

Well, the whole two personalities thing is the point of the original story. You just have to keep them in balance, trapping one too much will make the other more prone to outbursts.

 

I must read the book some time then this could make a bit more seance, i have seen some films though.

 

Bloody good episode tonight! Interesting twist on the origin.

 

Grrr bloody tv card decided to stop recording five minutes in. I wander what the chances of a torrent are....

There are torrents around, I was wanting to watch this series, but missed the start, so I've got some new 'uns.

 

Can't help but watch it, think it's the final one next week, can't wait

I think he was having it off with the maid who looked like Tom's wife. After he died she would have left and no-one would have known about their relationship.

 

The series appeared on TV-links the other Week. Only one Episode so far but expect they'll put more on.

You usually need to install Divx 6.6 to stream it though. But it'll tell you this when you click on the link anyway.
