It took maybe 30 minutes total? I dont know. Did most of the polishing witha table grinder and then finished it off with the drill press. I think I had the press running at like 1500 - 2000 rpm i think. I was fast but not to fast.
Tiny update. Jul-29-2007 This is what I have been doing the past few days. I did all this last night at work though. I was trying to figure out exactly what I wanted. This is it. When I go to the studio today,... this is what I will be doing. I'll be there all night. Going to on vacation in exactly 4 days! 1 month of BLACKOUT, straight up! Updates almost everyday
i am not sir, only teyber. jkjk i remember ediejo said that 1 month of blackout... looking forwards to this!
Subscribed dude looking great. On another note just got your dual-res through and it's a nice job, looking forward to using it in my build
UPDATE! WHAHOO! I didnt get a load done but I still got a good amount of work done. I started by finishing the last two pieces of aluminum, they needed to be polished. That took a bit of time. I then drew out the design on those two last pieces. These two last pieces being the inner bracket shield thing. I spent a good amoutn of time doing this because some of my stuff was off a bit. I had to make sure everything was aligned. Anyways,... check it out. Jul-30-2007 Drilling took a bit to do because there were so many holes to drill! In the pic you see me drilling the hole holes. I didnt use this uni-bit for the entire hole. I step drilled from like 1/16" up to 3/8" using separate bits. So,... thats when I went out to get this uni-bit! i cant believe I am just getting this thing now! It's great! Expensive too. Like $36US!! But it downa great job though! Saved me a ton of time. Look how evenly spaced! God I love it. So,... I went with this style instead of the inset style I was planning mainly because I wanted to maintain the look. This is what I did for the HDD rack so this is what Im doing for the PSU. Plus the inset would be more complicated and would take much more time. So yea. Hose preview. Time to scroll saw. Here you see that I am using my PIECE of S@#$ scroll saw. Nothing fancy The blade in the hole. Done! A close up so you can see how I roll,... you see how I try and not touch the tape. If I touch the tape a tiny bit thats ok. But I definitely do not want to cut into the tape. I will file all this away all of whats left of the shiny aluminum you see. I flipped it over and this is what it looks like without tape. I got most of that cutting done with one blade. I changed the blade only because I knew it was dull. It didnt break,... it was dull. You can see how the teeth are slanted upwards a bit. Anyways,... I plan on going back after work tonight to do some more cutting. Till then Vacation: 2 Days left.
wow. scroll saw.... amazing. nothign else to say. I think people will appreciate it more, if in you pics iyou showed it to size, like put a quarter next to it, to appreciate the small lines... Second, what is the unisink? i don't get it lol
