Graphics Ati Radeon 9700 Pro?

Ok so i am currently using a friends gainward golden sample 7500/xp as he is waiting for some other bits and pieces,...
So i need to buy a card soon. I like the gainward, but rumor is the new radeon pro (shipping soon) kicks its butt.,

What do you guys think>?

 

Wait for the radeon 9700 ... its going to kick some serious nvidia ass.

If you want to wait a bit longer I am sure nvidia will be launching the next gen cards to counteract ATi asap.

yes its a nice card, i just bought one. UNFORTUNATELY it doesnt work with my computer. apparently, they forgot to check compatibility with the 760MPX systems.....

 

Sin: that blows, those rat bas****s. What did you pay for it?

 

well it doesnt blow anymore, i disabled fast writes and it works now. but i paid $400 for it.... so they should at least try to work out all the kinks.
