Instant (Carte Noir) but only because I only drink coffee at work and there are no coffee machines - kettles only :)

Damn straight. I like fresh ground coffee, but I also like a cup of loose-leaf silver needle or green oolong tea (water no hotter than 92C, else you screw the taste).

Absolutely. I susbscribe to the Italian point of view: after 10.00am, a cappucino is illegal and immoral. Personally, I always have a black large espresso, all the way.

I have an espresso machine and cafetiere both at home and at work (it helps to share an office with a coffee-geek surgeon). I alsways have Illy Dark Roast, Cafe Najar with cardamom, or else that deep dark brown nectar: Monsoon Malabar (not that crap bought in the supermarket; I mail-order mine from the Algerian Coffee Company in London).
    Science. It works, bitches!

I'm a coffee addict, after my PCs, my Gaggia coffee machine is probably my favourite gadget in the whole house!!

Everything I wrote in here was rubbish, so I've removed it. Since 2007 I've seen the light and all coffee that I drink should come from one of the following:

    - Espresso Machine (<3 my Gaggia)
    - Aeropress
    - Cafetiere

At work, drip filter coffee is also tolerated. No instant though.

    sugar or egg-liqueur
    vanilla essence
    a lot of ice
shaker (to mix it, not to drink the shaker lol)

I use one of these (although I only paid about £40 as it was on offer). The capsules are full of ground coffee, and come in different strengths/blends.
1 shot espresso with a cup full of frothy milk and 2 sugars(Latte).
    very tasty coffee.

Although I can drink coffee black and with no sugar, it depends on what I feel like at the time.

As a general I drink instant, but thats because i can never be arsed to percolate coffee, because it means retrieving the percolator from wherever it is. Prefer percolated to any other type though.

We too have a machine like that at work, i think its mud in hot water, the Hot Choco is much nicer, and tastes of chocolate beleive it or not.

Anyway, i chose Cafetiére, Its much nicer than instant, and the smell is awsome.

I have a Krups Nespresso machine (the basic top-loader: one of the best pieces of product design ever seen). Pulls astonishingly good shots for a pod machine. :thumb:

Eventually I want an Elektra Casa, though.

Best of the lot: grind your own beans and use a cafetière.

    More caffeine!
Well, not actually for more caffeine, but rather it tastes far better than other ways of preparing coffee.
