    because the source engine isn't really very demanding, If it can play quake/prey/doom3 or whatever, it will play source at least as well

    It was becoming a bit stupid to keep testing HL2 because it was always like 200fps or whatever - i believe these are the reasons bit dropped source as a testing base - and i think it was a good choice tbh
