Aluminum hates paint. It wants you to polish it.:D It will take forever, but it will look CRAZY!
If you want some kind of contrast, you could sandblast some parts.

Mini update with alot to follow during the week.

Moving onto the side/bottom/top panels now.

Today I went back to the MDF version and quickly wacked up the side panels, didnt have enough for top panel so thatll be in the next update.

But this is just a preview and in no way shows the true outcome of each side panel, my gear is arriving soon and then i can show you all the final product for the side panels.

And for those that said 'Polish it' im in the process, but the process isnt working....but still im giving it a go.

Alu front has been 800/1000/1200 wet and dry sanded, looks horrible though....looks like true brushed alu.

So its getting there slowly , well slower now ive stripped the front and rear panels off.

Also started sanding and polishing the red acrylic and as soon as the PACKAGE arrives i can show the completed versions of all the acrylic , woooohooo.

This afternoon at 3:30 pm my package of goodies arrived, and it was perfect timing, because im working on the side panels now, just started on one of the sides to day.

Lovely Side Panel in the making.

Lining it all up for cutting

Cut the back out so i can fit the mesh after it gets a satin black paint jobby to it.

The Unveiling of the AWESOME RED ACRYLIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isnt it just awesome, vibrant....but wait theres more.

So as I like to be a bit different, instead of putting the Alu Film so it could be seen, i used it as effect backing on the acrylic...

The Back of the acrylic panel.

Flip it round...looks nice dont it...

This is what happens when sun hit the red and then the alu film at the back - it amplifies it all.
    Now thats, killer!!! (looks good)

    Same for other panel....saweet!!!

Front facia, inside shot, will have an outside shot under the sun tomorrow.

2 x single fan grills and 1 x dual fan grill, 80mm all of them.

I can honestly say that when i peeled back the alu from the white protector, i was a little hesitant, because the chrome i use is really bright, and alu is dull, but i tried it regardless, and i was blown away by it, awesome stuff :)

Ok its not a huge update, its a brighter update, lifted my spirits by heaps

    More to follow tomorrow.

    Thnx for viewing :)
