made a start on the side panel for the phase today, still got to do alot of filling an sanding to get the finish im after but its a start

    hole cut in the panel
    [IMG]

pipe and angled alluminiumglued into place to form the basic shape
    [IMG]

    first layer of filler
    [IMG]

second layer of filler sanded back to form the rough shape
    [IMG]

primed up to highlight the parts that need attention and fitted to the case, still gotta make a frame for the inside of the panel to bring it out flush with the rest of the case, but im liking it so far:p

    what ya think?????

    Great fiber work. :thumb:

And the name... what do you think of "K-Freezer"?
You already have the "K", so why wouldn't you use it?

    Keep on modding! :dremel:

started to make a false floor from aluminium for the case today to hide the wires from the phase to the power switch an stuff so you dont see a load of trailing wires and to cover the big hole i had to cut in the bottom of the case to allow the evap head through, just in the process of polishing it up at the mo.gonna be raised of the bottom about 10mm on spacers
pretty much finished the panel for the phase as well just gotta fill the existing screw holes an drill new ones so they look more asthetically pleasing, will post pics of it when its all done.

liking that mate "frozen dragon" really wanna try an get the K or khanage/khan in the name as well, mainly caus of the K i cut in the side only cut the K in caus my gaming names khanage an didnt wanna plain square or rectangal window was trying to be a bit different/original.

really flattered that youve subscibed as well mate, just hope it all goes well being my first project apart from the odd window,it all started as an experiment for an idea i had an i was real pleased with the way the first bit came out an just kept going, havent really got a plan made up for it at all but did check all my hardware was gonna fit,its tight but does fit:Dso any ideas you think may work let me know im always up for new ideas

If it were TEC-based, the Chief-TEC works. Kinda writes itself. :hehe: But I'm out of ideas for naming. I like this project regardless of name.

Maybe Frozen Karnage? Frozen Kharnage? Maybe that's dumb, but it just came to mind.

painted the inside of the case satin black, not alot of its gonna be seen but wanted it done anyway
    [IMG]

found the colour i think im gonna do the outside so tested it on the case

what ya think?decided to go with just a gloss blue rather than a metalic mainly because it seems alot easier to get a deep shine on when polished and i think it will suit the case better.
not alot to show i know but works gone mental at the mo hoping to get a bit done the weekend between work an family.
