...Or at least he does in this video from some crappy American cop show. Police, baffled by the cryptic message "Farah Level 10" at a drug dealers house struggle to find the evidences we need.

Why is it Americans have to be handwalked through things in these shows? Ugh. Nevermind. I'm more concerned about the radical alterations to the game itself as it appears in the show.

Hey... Life is not a crappy cop show. It's (usually) awesome. I do agree that the "hiding the spreadsheets in a computer game" premise was pretty dire however.

I've done this, I do it to hide evidence of me being a terrorist from the police people.

So if anyone can get to level 31.5 on Halo 3, you'll find evidencial stuff!

man that black dude sucked at PoP.

And how the hell are you going to hack a retail game disk to cut out on level 10 to go to your hidden cache of illegal files?! Ghey.

Whilst hacking a game to display a spreadsheet at level ten is highly improbable, games consoles are capable of having evidence hidden on them. I've analysed a few consoles myself, although (sadly) not in this way :p

Why didn't they just load the save game?

Surely the guy would have saved the game near "level 10" so he could access his Excel spreadsheet quickly.

Because that would be logical. Logic doesn't belong in a cop show.

lol that was bad. As everyone else said, plus, notice how the dealer unplugged and made the Xbox all nice and tidy ready to be picked up by the cops?

Strange, I don't recall that game having numbered levels separated by title screens straight ought of the 1980s. I must not be very observant.
