I'm very glad to see that you finished this, it looks great. This case is definitely representative of its name which doesn't always happen and is something I admire. You did a great job with it, very well done.

    Nicely done.

Only one piece of criticism here. It looks as if the edges of the window/logo aren't finished. They look like alu instead of blue, as the rest of the case is painted. Maybe you should run by the edges with a small brush, to get those edges done as well.

thanks for the comments guys, they are always appreciated :D

ReFredzRate: i did that on purpose actually. i cleaned the edges around the main window to make a nice contrast between the painted panel and the bare aluminum edge. it looks much better in reality :)

Fantastic Job I really like what you created here. I love those lights. I don't know if I will be trying to put lights in my project just because most of it won't be seen. It will look like a piece of fine furniture. With that it will be under a counter top (I'm redoing my office in my basement) and it will be difficult to see inside. (envy) :hip:

You ever see anyone using a laser for leveling (red in color) and they have on a pair of red glasses? The glasses make the laser light turn to a bright white, much the same as your blue lighting with blue plexiglas. Nice job

lol i was so surprised to see this thread back up that i actually forgot to answer the questions.

    How rude of me :(

tiCo: I'm not sure what you mean by "how i made the display". I bought the LCD unit on its own its 4X20 if i remember correctly, a cheap chinese version of crystalfontz LCDs, but it gets the job done :)
Then since i dont have any parallel ports on my mobo i connected the LCD using a PCI to parallel card. The software i use is LCD Smartie. Thats about it i think

    doubble_d: well i can try :p
