I don't know about the look of this whole thing, I don't think it's for me. But you are doing a fantastic job of putting this thing together with excellent craftsmanship, BRAVO!

    Update February 3rd

So we left off with the hinge on the upper wing. Today i started by visiting my good friend Snakez who lives not far from me. He had a triple radiator lying around for which he had no purpose, so he decided to offer it to my project :) Thanks!

First, i flipped the motherboard tray, since the case will be BTX. I noticed the bar to which the lower hinge is mounted was a bit in the way, so i took the Dremel and started cutting a strip away. Now the tray fits again :) Also, i mounted the upper wing and i checked out how to use the snap locks. Here are the results!

This is what Snakez donated! just need to clean it here and there :)

Safety first! No seriously, i've spoken with guys that have permanent damage to their eye(s) by using rotary tools without safety goggles. I always use my special Dremel goggles :p

Yeah, i only fitted the front snaplocks. Just want to test it out, see if i'm satisfied with the results. If i don't like it, i'll change it next update :)
Next update will probably be tomorrow or the day after, so hang in there and check ya guys later!

    Cheers!

Thanks, can't wait to put on the panels so that the whole thing will look so much better! Will install plain aluminium panels right on the frame, and then, using some spacers, i will install some sweet looking black anodized and brushed alu panels!

Are you going to do the same to both sides? I don't see why you'd really want a fancy door on the motherboard-side of your case. :/

:read: he said he's making up one side, getting it perfected and then copying it onto the other side.

    Hehe, thanks iwog:thumb:
But let me explain why i will use fancypants doors on the motherboard side. I am thinking of using 2 triple radiators :hip: Otherwise, i will put the custom reservoir in the upper or lower wing.

I can't really translate it because it just says "The big Haefele". I saw on their website that the catalog is also available in english, under the name "Complete Häfele".
See their website for more info: http://www.hafele.com/uk/about-us/haefele-group/901.asp

And Alumino Fantastico, i guess it's got a little bit of italian in it. So no dutch there :) I just wondered about a project name for too long, so i ended up just scribbling this down. I will change the name if i find a better one :)
