Passed it today Going to book my practical test at the end of march when I get back from the US. Just thought I'd share. Pha3dr0n
Nice... Good Luck... I blazed the multiple choice it's not too hard.... Danger Perception on the other hand is crazy! I made it through just clicking every few seconds
nice one, is it much harder now they have changed it? i just walked into mine and passed it used to be that easy
I agree - apart from a couple of wierd questions about caravans and horses the multi choice was basically common sense. For the perception test I just clicked every time I saw anything moving - cars, people, sheep (honest).
It's 90% Wales and 10% London I think (from the few that I've seen. There may be other places, but the DVLA's in Swansea, so it'd make sense to have the tea boy set up a camera in somebody's car!
I blazed the questions 100% in about five minutes, but that danger perception stuff? Argh! I passed by the skin of my teeth, literally I was one point from the threshold for failure. I got kicked out of about four of the clips for pressing too often. I had been using practice software and it's idea of "excessive clicking" was totally different to the actual software's. Bah.
You aren't the only one. I got 34/35 for the theory and passed the hazard perception by just 1 point. The hazard perception is silly because there are always hazards but it isn't totally clear what they are. Anyway, that was over 3 years ago
I believe the theory over all has been made harder with about 45 questions and a requirement of 75% correct to pass, I think when I did it 4 years ago or so it was about 20 questions and you needed 50%. Grats though, you are half way there
Depends who you are, some people are better at practicals than being on a computer. For me it was pretty much on par. I wasn't nervous for my theory but I was for the test but once I was driving I was relaxed and found it a breeze. Some people on the other hand go into panic mode...
woo, 17 on Monday so I will be driving then, Congrats on passing Pha3dr0n, have fun with the practical.
