News Red Alert 3 Announced

RA2 Yuri's Revenge $29.99 + Monster Energy Drinks $1.99 + Many Hours of Lost Sleep = Priceless.. For everything else there is C&C

 

Generals > Red Alert > Red Alert 2 > Tiberian wars > C&C > Tiberian sun

Although tbh I love Red alert just for the music etc but RA2 was class just for the Kirov airships.

I can't believe everyone is such a big fan of Red Alert 2!

Red Alert 1 was amazing: the missions, the music, the atmosphere, the cutscenes: everything was top notch.
I also liked the fine balance between the different sides: Allied with its superior naval units and Soviet with it's superior air units (and to some extent, land units).

I'm not saying Red Alert 2 was a bad game, by any means. It was pretty good actually;
but Red Alert 2 was great when it comes to multiplayer, the singleplayer part was too.. unserious, for my taste anyway.
I played through it, and it was fun, but it didn't match up to Red Alert 1.

Tiberian Sun had better singleplayer than Red Alert 2 did.

 

RA2 was my favorite because it had the best, most fun to use units, very interesting and unique teams, fun maps, and tons of tongue-in-cheek humor that just made the game FUN to play.

 

I'm glad to hear this. Personally I have trouble deciding betwen C&C Universe and Red Alert universe, but the former has Temple of NOD which is in many ways = Win. The in game videos of RA2 were awesome, I remember the first time you saw Tanya in the map display in the corner =D

Generals universe just sucks :/

Is it just me that remember RA1 with expansions as much harder to accomplish than RA2?

What what what!!! Generals/Zero Hour (much better with zero hour) is a great game, much fun to play, LASER Cheesecake

However despite it being a great game, it fails by constantly crashing mid game and players droppping out ughhhhhh, great game pluaged with bugs

 

meh, whens the next dune rts i ask ya!

 

They better not ruin it like they did with Command & Conquer 3.

 

Red Alert was incredibly fun 12 years ago and Red Alert 2 is still great to play once in a while so I say this:

 

Personally Tiberian Sun was the best for me.

 

Emperor was a seriously awesome game. I'm half tempted to give that an install now...

 

RA was my favorite. But I think I played RA2 and YR online more than the rest of the games. Man, that was back before I was even in Jr. high. About to turn 19 now.

 

about bloody time...... but i fear they will do it wrong... unless they listen to the fans......
