    NICE, looks great!

If you don't need the U channel for any type of electrical insulation:
If you have extra mesh, you could make your own U channel out of it to keep the style the same, but maybe paint it different for accent. Also, you could make U channel with some really thin gage sheet metal and just polish it up... It would take some work, but it looks like you have the patience for it!

U Channel can be made from all kinds of materials. Rubber, glass, wood, metal, composites...

LOL. Splitting hairs, man. I meant in this particular use (i.e. computer modding) it would more than likely be rubber. ;)

    DANGER, WILL ROBINSON!

The first two connectors are NOT wired the same as the second two.

The two on the left are wired:
    Code:
    Yellow Red

    Yellow Black
And the two on the right are wired:
    Code:
     Red Black

    Yellow Yellow
I am making the assumption that all the connectors are the same way up. If so, DO NOT use this 'til this has been corrected, please.

    ^^

@Jipa: Everyones can have a bad day some time.

But i need your opinion guys.

Im thinking to paint the inside (only for the side where the mainboard psu etc. is) black, then i want to sand the mainboardcover down to blank metal and paint some shapes and a logo on it. What do you think? could this look good? Im not quite sure, but i think it wont look too bad.

Hi guys, long time no see.
The last few months i've had much to do for university nad stuff. But now are the first exams over, and untill the next ones, i have lots of freetime.

So today i had actually to look for my case con, where did it hide.
Eventually i found it under the stairs ^^

So i started the operation "Rescue the Con" and the case transfered into my room (which i has been cleaning for the last 2 days) safely.

After that i looked at the case and thougt "What to do next"

    First
-> away with the motherboard cage, i dont need that

    Second
-> definetly no paint on the outside.

The rest of the remaining day i spent, giving the plexi parts their final polish. In the end it was only one part, and only half of it :-/

Well here are the first pics after a long time from me.

    Right from under the stairs:

And the plexi part i was polishing (one of the front thingies)
    Before:
    [IMG][IMG]

    After:
    [IMG][IMG]

I've spent a full hour for this ( i sure got rusty ^^). The next updates will be filled with more polishing im afraid, but i have to start slowly after such a long break. ;-)
    Until next time
