WHY? I installed a updated sound driver yesterday that is needed befor you can use the dolby utility after installing this driver I lost my sound and eventually had so much grief trying to get my machine to run would loose display just after icons loaded on start up it was a real nightmare wouldnt let me re install original driver from board disc wouldnt go back to prev driver etc etc etc and all the time getting various display hassles Came right in the end got up and running then did a syt restore to previous day and all seems well now I am just puzzled as to how a sound driver can cause such havoc with display ? Has anyone else had hassles like this caused by a sound driver or was this just a once off? Thanks Nigel this is with vista 32 bit
