I played the demo.. tried the following songs and it was quite neat! :)

    "Come" by After Forever,
"Wish I had An Angel" by Nightwish, and
"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk

Looks good, might have to pick that up later.

And who in the office listens to Alk 3 then?

The best part is that the game itself is focused on scores, not survival – it’s impossible to die halfway through your favourite song and have to attempt it all again. At the very worst you’ll fill up your grid and lose control for a minute while your ship respawns – you can’t die and the song won’t stop until the fat lady shuts up.

    Flick on IRON MODE!

Also, what ship turns the board white?

I thought you could choose background colour in the options section, or let it choose a random one?

I dont think it can take continuiously generated music, it needs to map the song ahead of playing it

Incidentally, it'll support more than just a few formats, according to itself it supports all the common audio codecs on my PC atm (FLAC, OGG, WMA, MP3, AAC, etc etc). :D

Just got the demo..........for now. I think this is my new favorite waste of time.
I tried bamboo, siakol, and gloc 9. I love it!!

I think it would make a great screen saver or visualization, dont you?

The song time limit is definately past 21 minutes, I was playing a 23 minute song this morning. I'll try a 45 minute one tonight and see what happens.

This game is a blast. Best $10 I've spent in recent memory.

Thanks for bringing a new game into my life...I had all but given up on video games because nothing was interesting anymore...Now if I could only pull myself away from this...I typed it while waiting for a Machine Head song to load...I can't draw myself away long enough otherwise to do anything XD

Oh noes, I think we're going to need a bigger door on the office. Joe's head has grown enough in the last two weeks - we don't need it to grow any more! :eeek:

Yesterday, the "Audiosurf Scorekeeper" sent me an email, alerting me that I was "dethroned" in a song I played a few days ago. Interesting system it has.

Too bad I'm such a competitive person and that annoyed me SO much. Oh well. :hehe:

Actually, the door on the new office is a double door, so we should be able to get Joe's head through it for some time yet.

I've only played the demo(the game is downloading from steam now), but by far my favorite was "Push Those Blues Away" by Big Audio Dynamite. Not only is the song catchy but I think it's perfect for the game. It starts out slow, going uphill and about a minute in it speeds up and you rocket down the track being smashed helplessly into tons of bricks. It's awesome.
