CVs can be hugely varied, ranging from including everything about your whole life ever, right down to short ones that are only about specific things. As I understand it, a resume can be seen as a specific kind of CV. What type of CV you use is down to the job you're applying to, the company, the sector, your past skills and experiences, loads of stuff. Choosing the right CV is part of the whole job seeking process. A fantasticly relevent CV can do as much for your chances as its content.
For those who are curious, I got the job. They wanted me to start on 3/3 in a city a couple of thousand miles from home. I talked them into the 10th instead.
As usual, Nexxo has the picture with just the right amount of lol, but also makes it fit the topic that the thread is following. /OT Congratulations! Let us know how you get on! Joe
No - It's in the U.S. I live in Portland Oregon and the job is in Columbus Ohio. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=...02.94785&sspn=17.104265,42.539063&ie=UTF8&z=5 It's a software dev position. The project manager is in Ohio, but currently all of the developers are in the UK. The project manager wanted me to interview with one of the developers because he would be better able to asses my skills.
