I'm running an intel c2d e8400 on an evga 860i sli a1 mobo flashed with the p32 bios and I'm in the process of doing some overclocking (currently testing at 4.050Ghz). I want to push it further but I've heard about inaccurate temp reading with my mobo on cpu. I'm using speed fan and core temp which i believe displays the correct cpu temp but I'm not sure.

On my Gigabyte mobo, I have found speedfan gives similar CPU readings to the Gigabyte utility so seems to use the same sensors as Gigabyte for monitoring. I think I am comfortable with the readings from speedfan
