You mix together 2 things i really love: carpentry and modding. Not only this, but the worklog is fantastic and the job itself is awesome!

Fantastic. Honest (as Joe Martin use to say)!

    Thank you Yemerich. :)

Thanks Mikle., The hardware is not the latest but is good,
    here is a list:
    PC1. Q6600 GO
    4GB OCZ 800mhz
    Asus P5KE-Wi-Fi
    HD 3850
    PC2. E6600
    2GB OCZ 800mhz
    Gigabyte 965P DS-4
    X1950 pro
    And various WD Hard drives.
PC2 is a media center and holds all my movies and music, PC1 is
the workhorse were I do all my video editing and coding and all my
    photo editing.
    I don't "need" to have 2 pc's I just like to. ;)

All up about 2.2TB, not a lot by todays standards but plenty for me.

    Thanks again AlexB.

Haha., no, I didn't mean to be sarcastic at all and I'm sorry if readers get that idea. And yes
I won't be buying any drives for a long time.

i will keep an eye on this, your work is amazing, and it kind of remembers me of a project i was to make but could not do it because of the price of the stuff......

and yes, it is starting to look like furniture....

The only thing it lacks is a multi-CD loader unit modded to handle data dvds. You have enough room for one.

You'll be surprised how little room is left.

    E.E.L. Ambiense.,
Haha OK, I'll try to find a sarcasm dealer for you.

    Thank you DXR_13KE. :)

They have sarcasm on my home planet:clap: I have 3 1Tb raid 5 arrays and 4 250Gb leftovers from the 4th array.
Lot's of room for family pictures and recipes!
Before anyone asks, I didn't buy them, in the US the barter system is alive and well.

Wow! That's a lot of recipes. Well I only have about 900GB of stuff
as far as I can tell, so lot's of room left to put away useless stuff I'll never be
able to find again. :wallbash: :hehe:

This I can relate to. I am always searching for a picture or link that is buried from WAY BACK! I think packrat should be the Colorado state mammal. I'd vote for it.

Thanks outawaol, :) Here you go then.

Although the project is still ongoing the case is largely finished.
Just need to see if I can lower the top a little and finish and wire
    up the control box.

There are a lot of photo's here spread across two posts, I just didn't
know which ones to exclude. :duh:
