Very, Very excellent work all around. Just perfect!
Maybe a suggestion for the top panel... Automation...would throw this already brilliant build even further over the top!

btw, i just noticed the sound insulation..... is it loud when it's running?

Thank you all very much for the kind words, I'm still dazzled by your responses. :):D:):D:):D

    mr00Awsome:
Haha, yes I did consider this a while back (with many other ideas as well), temp
controlled rise and fall of the top panel, but dismissed it due to electrical and
mechanical complexity when I was trying to make something as simple as possible
and, internally at least practicality was the main determining factor.
Yes it was a bit "boomy" but the insulation fixed that. It is too noisy but I'm still
working on that, may be able to reduce fan speeds or install quieter fans.

    Millusdk:
They are mobile racks. I like to store different OS's on separate drives, I have several
caddies that just slot in when I want to change from one to the other, it's not much
slower than rebooting into a different partition on the one drive.

that top panel could hold dual 120.3 rads, and there is more than enough room in there for water cooling. i suggest a single rad per computer. that may reduce noise alot as you could mount fat 120mm fans and run them slow.

water cooling would be the icing on the cake for this project!

That does seem like a good idea, but I was just thinking of something along the lines of computer on-top panel up/computer off-top panel down

I love your combination of Metal and Wood. This case fits perfectly together, and I wouldn't be surprised if I saw this in a CEO's office.
    It looks amazing.

PFS*., Thanks, glad you like it. :)

Burnout21., Well the water cooled projects I've seen here are mind
boggling, particularly when the modder makes he's own blocks etc,
this is truly awesome stuff. But I'm a complete noob in this regard
and I'm sooooo close to finishing as well.

mr00Awesome., Oh OK, but it's still pretty complex.

    kitt, pcgamez, 500mph,
Thanks, you're far to kind. :):):)

    The control box.

The wood has been coated a decent amount and I've assembled together
most of the bits I'll be using.

The case pads from the original coolermaster case look pretty good so
    they can go on.

This box will house a couple of DVD burners as well as the power and reset switches.
I was going to also install power and HDA LEDs but decided against this. Your ordinary
CAT5e or similar network cable is ideal for this as it has 8 conductors, two each for
    the power, reset and LEDs.

The front panel (and also the rear ) will be 2mm alu.

    It works for me.

    And it looks OK.

Now as you can probably see in the first photo of this post, the DVD's almost fill
the width of the box, so there isn't enough room here for the switches. But that's OK
because the switches will be on the back. This is quite alright, power on the outside and
reset on the inside for each PC. It feels very natural to rest a hand on the box and let
the fingers dangle over the back.

The holes for the switches need to be 19mm but I don't have a bit this big
    so more filing.

Thats all I can do today.

Very nice! Can't wait to see more!
I have to admit that I feel a little sad knowing that this project is near completion. Will you start some other project soon, and/or do you have a website showing off other stuff you've made, I would love to see that!

again you deliver beauty.... and by the way, why don't you make a back plate cover? like a 4 side wood box thing with an opening on the bottom, so you can have it covered and at the same time have them organized.....
