ATI HD3850. I believe it can also be passively cooled. http://www.tekheads.co.uk/s/product?product=608644 Or: http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop/index.pl?prodID=B96823
Jesus, they made one of those? I was all ready with my AGP x1950XT suggestion (which I wouldn't recommend trying to cool passively......)
I might be wrong on this, but the last Nvidia AGP card I know of is the 7800 GS, which is pretty dated now, losing out to the X1950.
Nvidia did make a 7950GT in AGP which is comparable (just a bit slower) to the X1950xt. There have been rumors of G8x and G9x agp versions, but the estimated dates for these rumors have long since passed.
fair play, guess it'll be the ATI card then. Saphire look like they do a passive one but it's PCIe -- any chance that the chips will be in different places so their cooler would not work on an AGP version?
Cards that are originally made for PCI-E do have the chip which provides AGP<->PCI-E signals, so I think you'll need a special cooler which fits on an AGP card.
you can buy a 3850 AGP version and then you can buy a third passive cooling heatsink, the Artic cooling Accelero s2 is around $25 (i dont know how is that in UK), and even if you can find the Accelero S1 that also fit in the 3850 i supposed that is cheaper. Recently Powercolor made a contest of the worst 3dmark result, and the prices was a 3850 AGP. The winner was a ¿chilean? (some guy from chile)
