Popped down to Battersea Power Station after work today as its very close to my work.

Here are some pics, more on my Flikr here.

Taken with a Nikon D80 and Sigma 50-150 f2.8. Most are just cropped. No PS fiddling done. :)

    Comments welcome.

I love the crane-type machine, how did it look in colour? Wonderful sharpness to them all, did you tripod?

All hand held actually on A priority mode. It's the lens - incredibly sharp.

I didnt take it in colour actually... it was kinda grey anyhow. No rust or anything that would look cool.

:read: (have been dying to use that one) Its at the top just above the 1st picture. Sorry for the sarcasm :thumb:

On a constructive note the crane thing looks awesome, everything about the photograph is spot on :D

Edit: It appears in my enthusiasm to use the "read the thread" face, I appear to have not actually read the thread. Bummer.

It's late damnit. I can't read as it is :p

I wish I had some epic machinery to photograph. Love the stuff with all the intricacy and disregard for aesthetics.

    I feel like such a n00b.... Bedtime I think.

I want to really like the last one, but there just seems something off about its asymmetry, and the space on the LHS. I much prefer the repetition from this one in your flickr stream.

I did that deliberately to make you look back and forth from the black sq to the windows. I like the symmetrical ones as well though (although i deleted it from flikr as i dont want 'duplicate shots' up. :)

The flats in the background of this one remind me of Half Life 2.
