komplett do a number of bundle upgrade kits, and with the hardware i'm looking at buying one of these would actually be a bit cheaper for me....

but which of the following is better? and is the equipment in the kits actually properly matched?? i'm very confused :S

    http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=343860 - £189

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz Socket AM2 2MB, BOXED w/fan
    MSI K9N NEO-F V3, nForce 560, Socket-AM2 ,SATAII, DDR2, GbLAN, ATX, PCI-Ex16
    OCZ Gold XTC DDR2 PC6400 4096MB KIT, w/two 2048MB PC6400 XTC, CL5

    http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=343653 - £205

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.67GHz 1333Mhz Socket LGA775, 4MB, BOXED w/fan
    Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3, P35, Socket-775, ATX, GbLAN, DDR2, ICH9, DES, PCI-Ex16
    A-DATA DDR2 PC5300 2048MB CL5 Kit w/two matched DDR2 667 1024MB CL5

i'm leaning towards the Intel kit, but am concerned that the memory is mis-matched - as i see everyone with memory of 6400 speeds and above in the PC specs.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

your not really saving much there to be honest
a quick run through scans products and upgrading to corsair memory instead of A-Data brought me within £5 of thier offer. i would personally go a step further and put the quickest memory you could afford into it instead of wasting money on slower stuff you may not be happy with even a year from now.

would it not be more prudent to spec 6400 memoiry rather than 5300 though...have to admit i'm a bit out of touch with current FSB/Mem interfaces speeds.

i just specced up somehting on scan for £215 inc vat that has 2gb 6400 memory

Go fo 6400. ATM the best price/performance ratio IMHO.
