Today was the first day with sunny weather since I got my camera, so I figured it was time to take a small trip down to the city to take some pictures. The obvious choice was the Nidaros Cathedral. It's a church built between 1070 and 1300.

Just a sign that I find pretty funny. :) (It's a crap image, I just wanted to show it to you)

One of my favorite shots for the day. I know it's dark, but IMO the sun gives it a pretty cool effect. I'm working on a HDR version of this one. We'll see how it turns out. I will definitively redo this one later.

The front glass window. I was trying to get the trees to act as a natural frame.
    Unedited.

Again, the front of the building.
This one is cropped a bit, and some branches from a tree in the background edited out. And edited out a speck of dust on the lens...

    Cropped, otherwise unedited.

As always, C 'n' C is more than welcome :)

Looks like you need a UWA. The best of the bunch goes to the second to last, it could use a tad bit of level tweaking...too bad you didn't get more of it :(

OleJ: Yeah. No wonder it took so long to build.

Vers: It was a bit hopeless to get any good pictures of the front. If I go far enough from the buildings I get a lot of trees in the way, and my lens isn't shot enough for me to stand in front of the trees and get the whole building.

    Thacrudd:

Here is the HDR version. It's not good, but it's my first try, so...

Having trees in the picture when attempting HDR isn't a good idea. :wallbash:

    edit:

Here is the impossible shot. ;) Don't ask me how...
