alright guys just to keep you informed on the delays.

Got a new car, so have been very busy with that. 2008 vw rabbit.

Not sure if i said or not but the evap was completely clogged  when i was brazing cap tube some of the brazing rod flowed all the way down in. Fixed clogging but now can't get it leak free, so i am starting a new evap.

Broke 3 expensive endmills yesterday so lost motivation to mill lol :(

So just decided to make a new evap for now.
New one is shorter too. Old one was excessively tall, almost 1.6"! new one is about 1.25". I still need to machine the base down to perfect thickness and perfectly flat.

Also the older style was not finished.
Outside is a little rough, was using 1/8" endmill because i didn't want to change collets for 5 min of milling... gosh prolly should have but its not going to show.

Tried to make inside have nice finish. Outside edges should have been done with one of my 1/4" carbide TiN(titanium nitrate) coated endmills.

You can see i tried to have "tiny bit" of larger to smaller from base to top in center size...

    and new avvie :D

New copper pipe comes in mail soon, found a good deal on 4' of 1.5" id 1.625" od copper pipe, i think 24$ and 16$ to ship. I was paying 40$ a foot before! (luckily i was buying in inches...) but still it added up.

    Regards

aaahhhh, the vw rabbit :duh: But do those things go well with the long legged busty redheads? Any mods planned? Maybe nfsmw has a bit to do with it, but those cars look pretty damn tough & sporty with a quick lowering job :naughty:

thanks! oreon: it was a little bit more insired of kayls block, but thanks :D

mvgusta: Lol! Thinking of struts bars and a cold air intake, not for a while. I don't want to worry about speed bumps so i will do some research on that. If i lowered it it wouldn't be by much.

will post more pics once i find camera

ooh shiny and pretty blue colours... very nice
reminds me of the metals i was heating up with the bunsen burner today in science.
did you purge your evap when you brazed it or are you going to clean it up later???

fixed pic sorry... stuey: you probably couldn't see it as i forgot to resize it and forum probably took it down.

oreon: bunsen burners are fun! of course i purged the inside, outside i can't i just clean it up after. It ruins the thermal transfer to not purge. The purple/blue is pretty cool huh? weird to see copper that color...

    thanks karolis :D

Nope. I'm still seeing red X's, and clicking on them leads to a "cannot be found" error.

Actually, after looking at other pages in the thread, it looks as though all of your photos are down.

It seems that I am randomly unable to view any imageshack photos at the moment. Odd.

Off topic: Don't lower your ride. I have a friend with cronic back problems caused from his love of lowriders. Roads are rough enough without you removing some of your cushion.
The same friend once hit an object in the road in a lowered VW. The passenger seat was sucked under the car when it caught the floor pan.
Here's the best part. the road object was a manhole cover.:D
