I really like #5 in it's original form (even though it looks like it should be rotated counter-clockwise a tiny bit).

Honestly, I like pictures that show me what I would see with my own eyes if I went there much better than heavily photoshopped ad-like (or CSI-recoloured - that whole show looks unnatural to me) images. Also the lower saturation colours appear calmer and more natural. All of those are very nice pictures.

I know you weren't talking to me but I'd have to go a LOT farther than that to see a castle - though the Canadian Rockies are not too far away and lakes, rivers, plains, forests, ... can be beautiful too. Ah, beauty is where you find it. Thanks for sharing

I think they're all great shots. 5 is my favourite I think. I love the smooth reflection off the water.

I think I might have to visit Scotland at some point. The landscape is just so impressive!

I love the reflection and the way the light plays on the photo, it brings out beautiful colours. very well composed and a very calm picture.

The original #5 had a too soft of a contrast and vers' version was too harsh, but #5 looks really nice now! and makes me lean in to try and see more detail, so it would be great blown up nice and big on a wall :thumb:
Maybe you can cheat a little and make the sky & lake more blue? :naughty:

I really like the latest version with they gray sky. Gives it a wintery-ish feel. Looks like a great place to live.

Blue would be wrong actually! But a bit of orange/red in the sky & some orange/red in the water so the reflection matches would be good i think, not much, just a tad. The water looks good cos there is a reflection there, but the sky is a lil too gray i reckon.

Not that it isn't great now btw, it's very nice, i'm just describing what i think would be perfect imo :thumb:
