I personally think your loop looks awesome. It's pretty clean and the variety of bends and stuff. It's against the normal and the T junction just looks sex with the metal coils.
I absolutely love this mod. There's so many subtle little details, and I really feel that's exactly what makes a great case mod. I could look at this thing all day in person and still keep noticing things. Really top-notch stuff man, you've got good reason to be proud of how it turned out
Any help with this problem would be VERY much appreciated. I cant think of anything else right now but want to get the mod done! Thanks Cyp.
This is looking great, very clean inside. the black and silver throughout compliments the sleek exterior. Simply Nice
wow...i just spent my time reading this worklog and absolutely amazing...I am an apple fan and love mdding, and u have done exactly whati have always wanted to do; mod a MacPro...good on ya
Thanks for the kind words guys and apologies for the slow updates recently. I am finding it harder to make the time to sit down and get this done. I cant really do a bit here and a bit there but rather need to block out a whole day and i havent had many of those free. Cyp.
I've spent the last 2 hours reading your log... Amazing is the only word that I can say... Tnx a lot, Cypro, you gave me tons of ideas, and the Velcro HDD is fantastic! Keep on, man, and remember : modding is a pleasure, not a work, so take your time, don't mod in a rush, we will be here waiting for you!
Thanks for taking the time to read it dia2777. I def agree that modding should be enjoyable not a chore. You've certainly put a lot of time and effort into the details in your mod as well so i guess you enjoy it! Careful with the Velcro idea - im having to re-think it slightly so as to leave the 'breather hole' uncovered.
Yeah, thanks Burnout. The problem is there is very little space between the HDD and DVD drive. Possibly not enough for an acrylic mounting. I need to sit down and think this through some more. Cyp.
Still not 100% what is up. At least it hasnt crashed for 48 hours and that includes gaming. PC still feels sluggish though and Firefox is giving me problems occasionally (wont load some images and will repeatedly try to load some pages on a loop, never actually loading them). Odd. Im putting it down to overheating/mobo problems/dodgy windows install. Cyp.
=[ confusing looking wires your mod looks soo clean and sharp, but the messy wires were distracting =[. it would look freaken awsome if the wires are all nice and clean like the rest. maybe wrap them with some black wirecovers?
they will be hidden, he is just at the stage of getting the hardware setup, this can be a pain in the arse if water cooling is envolved, plus his HDD problems. Trust me, it'll be clean!
you could use something like these to mount your HDD's on one of your fans http://www.mountainmods.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=hard+drive&x=0&y=0 But I'm not sure how much space you have, and you'd probably need to redo your shroud too
Mmm... I'm trying to give you an idea.... You can do a fake pci card in acrylic, put a pci metal cover from an old card, put it in place and use this dummy card to hold in place your hard disk. Ok, it's not easy, I know, but you can use the free pci solt and it's a new hdd position, I never see a mod with the hard disk in the pci slot... I know that in english I can't explain me well, but if you're intrerested I can do a drawing for you...
I like that idea A LOT! Thanks. It will have to wait though as im just about to go on holiday for a couple of weeks. dark4181: Yeah, i would have to re-do a lot of work as i wont have any 120mm fans showing. nikeunltd: Dont worry - they wont be there! Cyp.
