Modding where to aquire these (RJ45 wallplates)

    where was one to aquire a couple of these, quite cheaply in the uk...sorry if its to be in hardware and overclocking....

    I think I saw some in Focus/Do It All but don't take my word for it :D

    You can get the faceplates and keystone jacks (the bit that the plug goes into) separately from B&Q, the keystone jack just clips into the faceplate

    ::EDIT:: The kaystone jacks are £2.48 each, and the faceplates are £1.24 for single and £1.48 for double.

    but www.diy.com, you can buy em easily online or in store otherwise

    those rj45 pieces here aint cheap at all they set ya back about $8.50 australian

    do they make them with phone plugs in as well as cat5 plugs?

    I believe you can get the keystone jacks for virtually anything.
    And IIRC, the actual faceplate is pretty universal.

    in the US you can interchange them.... As long as you put your phone Tip and Ring on the white-blue and blue-white, you can use the cat5 jack for your phone. The contacts are still made, and it isn't loose or anything. I don't know about the differences with Brit. phone cords...

    Brit phone connectors aren't the same as US ones, however, modem our modem cords are the same.
