Westinghouse is HORRIBLE. I remember helping a customer when I worked at Best Buy and his monitor had a dead pixel. He brought it back and wanted to open the box and make sure the new one was ok. Long story short, we opened 4 boxes before we found one with nothing wrong.

For that price it may be an "Ok, just throw it away in 4 months." But don't expect a good monitor!

my experiance with westinghouse is much better ...

i have a 27" tv and a 22" monitor and both are great for the price.
the tv is starting to show some issues with age - namely a slightly burnt-in line from where my set-top box put up it's pillar bars on non-widescreen video - but it is only noticeable on very bright, light colored scenes.
my monitor has 1 stuck pixel and really is only noticeable on dead black.

I know a few Americans on another forum who use (1080p) Westinghouse LCD TV's with their PC's, and they all sing their praises.

I don't know what Hateorade is talking about, but Westinghouse are said to be some of the best TVs around, and MANY people are using them as PC monitors, in particular the 1080p 37" models.

i have a Westinghouse and it's decent, they're usually are priced well. The black value isn't deep enough but it's not that noticeable unless you are an aficionado or do graphic design like i do. I ended getting a higher end monitor later but for while I had it i was pleased
