    Yep. 450 watts of pure vibratory goodness. Bargain at £400.

    Would have been an Ampeg SVT-3 Pro head and separate cab, however I'm not made of money.

    Heh. Quite a bit cheaper for the option you took. :p

    Incidentally, have you noticed that a lot of pro bassists use mahoosive stacks that dwarf all the other gear? No reflection on you, just commenting. :)

    I wondered why I was feeling bloated. According to my bank statement, it turns out that on saturday, I spent the following on myself:

    08:36pm: Chinese Restaurant / Bryn-y-mor Rd / Swansea: £26.38
    09:14pm: Dominos Pizza / Swansea: £17.89
    09:31pm: ATM / Swansea University / Swansea: £40.00 (This was all spent on Beer, shots, and nuts)
    12:13am: Chinese Restaurant / Bryn-y-mor Rd / Swansea: £19.07

    I'd have thought I'd have remembered spending over a hundred pounds on beer and food... but noooo...

    <checks for worms>
    <no worms found>
    <conclusion: I'm an absolute fatty>

    Chinese, Pizza, Beer and more Chinese £ 103.34
    Half an hour spent cogitating on the loo - priceless.

    Bought the mrs a few bits for her birthday. £50 of 'universal gift vouchers' to spend wherever she likes, a chocolate plaque with Happy Birthday from Rex (from the dog, clever little mutt), Run Fatboy Run on Bluray and a Birthday card. Didn't get much as she's already had her new laptop earlier in the year.

    And just bought Corpse Bride and Blade Runner on HD-DVD.

    As well as a couple of books from Amazon:

    "Devil May Care (James Bond)"
    "The Pirate's Dilemma: How Hackers, Punk Capitalists, Graffiti Millionaires and Other Youth Movements Are Remixing Our Culture and Changing Our World"

    The second book is available for free an an E-book, but I want some garden reading material :)

    Dave, where is the Chinese on Bryn-y-Mor - I live in Sketty, and work in Town, and I drive home that way every night! And I've never seen a Chinese on Bryn-y-Mor Road!

    The life of a student eh?!

    Lol
