I heard somewhere that X-Box is creating a portable system. Is this true? If it is than it will be a very expensive system because the regular ones are.

    I very much doubt it.
These rumours have been around since the original Xbox, Microsoft generally don't do well on portables.

I work for Bill Gate's hamster (Pouches) and I can confirm that yes, they are making a portable console.

    Shouldn't it be:
    Nintendo - Wii + DS
    Sony - PS3 + PSP
    Microsoft - PC + 360

As the Xbox360 is portable, more portable than a PC anyway.

Generally, trying to take on Nintendo in the portable gaming arena is asking for trouble. I doubt Microsoft would be willing to tread where so many have failed before. It think it is more likely that they'd incorporate gaming into their windows mobile smart phone platform.

I read an article somewhere (may have been on Bit, I can't remember) but someone said that Microsoft would rather leave the handheld consoles to Nintendo and Sony, as they were not interested in making one. I personally would like to see what they have to offer, although I love my PSP and DS, put LOTS of gametime on them.

Microsoft's quite happy to have their first party studios develop for the DS.

They're not losing, but gaining money generally. I don't think they'd risk introducing a handheld. Nintendo reigns supreme in the department, and Sony's console has been the only one sofar that's swam rather than sunk.
