I've been using transmission for a long time now, and I really like the UI, but there are 2 things I don't like about it. First, it seems as if it's a huge ram pig. I have 4gb in my new mbp and if I leave transmission running for a couple of days, it seems to want to take nearly all of that. Second - if a torrent contains multiple files I want to be able to set a priority for some of them. Transmission will allow me to "turn off" files inside the torrent, but I just want to tell it to focus on downloading certain ones first. Are there any mac BT clients that do that?

I have also played with VUZE and the official bt client. Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

In the Linux version of Transmission you can set priorities for different torrents by going into the "details" tab.
I was going to recommend Transmission but somehow I don't think that would be very helpful!

    Anyone else?

Has anyone tried running the *nix version of transmission on a mac?

I use Bits on Wheels, because I'm a sucker for gimmicks.

    3D swarm map? Yeah, I'll bite :p

Looks interesting. Still doesn't look as if it supports priority though.

    Thanks.
(Also - noted that your mac isn't getting any love in your signature... :( )
