Always liked the Voodoo range of cards but not that much :naughty:

Still I'm sure someone will want to re-home it.

What a load of crap, it is a slow card from the past which means it has no:

    T+L (Hardware Transformation and Lighting)
    No Pixel Shaders.
    No Vertex Shaders.
    Direct X 7/8 support (its a Direct X 6/7 card).
No manufacture support for new drivers.

A Ge-Force 256 DDR from a few years ago would kill it in speed.

I don't think the issue is that there's better out there, it's more that it's one of only a handful ever released to the public.

It has four GPUs and is the approximate size of Ohio. It's just begging for modding. If it weren't more expensive than my entire computer, I wouldn't mind getting that. I'd honestly put it in a machine (obviously not a power machine) because that woul dbe absolutely cool.

Cool just like a level 50 Batman.

You are right that would look good on my wall, but the price is too high for a wall hanging.....

I have seen those cards with a different layout on them in that they have the graphics chips in a square pattern not inline, I think that one or the other configuration was the prototype one but I am not too sure.

I would still love to own one of those, who cares if they can't hold it amongst newer models, they have got 4 GPUs on!!!!! That has got to stand for something.

Yeah, it stands for a waste of retail space for other mods and hardware:D

Also, we need more multi-GPU video cards, why? Because they are cool.

Honestly, who has a multi-processor system other than the ability to brag about having more than one of a CPU/GPU/anything else.

Kargin my dear fellow, you are missing the point, having four GPUs on your card is like having 18" wheels on your car, it is back to the whole 'my dad is bigger than your dad' thing from school.
Sure they may take up room that could be used for other things, but I still think they look pretty cool in an old skool, Tonka toy sort of way.

I was being (I thought blantently, but apparently not) sarcastic, hence the smilie and my mention of needing mroe video cards with multiple GPUs, and also of how the real reason people have those kinds of systems are for bragging rights.

Although having 18 wheels on your car would make for an interesting driving experience. Especially if you could fit all 18 wheels on a car similar to that of a Geo Metro, or a Swift, or a Firefly, yeah, that'd be even better. Firefly wheels are already smaller than my fist, having 18 of them on one of those would be cool. Maybe even k3wl.

800 quid??? That's $1262 here in the ole US. That's as much I PAID FOR MY WHOLE NEW RIG!!!! :eeek::eeek::eeek::eeek: Monitor excluded of course but DAM, why would you pay that much for a card. Yes it's rare, yes it looks cool, but it only has GF3 performance. I can't see being THAT big a fan of 3dfx to pay that much for a GFX card.

So? It's a foot-long graphics card, with 128MB RAM 4 GPU's and has to have an external power supply. BLING-BLING! :D
