1950XT Vista x64 Texture Problem

I'm currently running Vista x64 and with just about every game I run I get texture problems. Mostly just garbage across the screen. The temperatures max out around 83-85 degree's celsius and sometimes I get 'The Device Driver Has Stopped Running' errors. I think the problem is Vista but I'm running the OS on Raid 0 and can't really format at the moment. Is the card overheating? Or is it just Vista?

how long have you had vista? if its brand new then maybe the drivers got corrupted during install but if you have been running with vista for a while then you just found a good reason to upgrade to a 4850.

 

I just upgraded to it a month ago, have had nothing but problems with every game I install but everything else runs perfect so I haven't bothered with formating. But yea, I was thinking about buying a 4870 on my next paycheck and chucking my 1950XT against a wall.

 

Every game I play with my 1950XTX make that problem all the time but no noticeable in the game. it don't ruin the fun.

 

Good idea, I just went from a 1950 pro to a 4850 and i'm glad that I did.
