hi there, I finished the dvd player :), and made my power button work.
I made a new front pannel for the dvd drive from 2mm thick aluminium and milled it to the right size and the way I want it to be. Also I spray painted it satin black. There are 3 tiny holes in the right lower corner they are:
    - old button in case of wen the sensor stops working
    - led
    - opening thing wen the dvd player hase no power

The power button was a thing I was forgotten, so it needed to be dun so I did :p. It is a Vandal Resistant Switch Black with a red ring and with some cabels, shrinking hoses and some sleving it was dun in no time.

    Alu plate that I used:

the plate mounted to my dvd drive to fit every thing and gluing it with epoxy:

hey I started the build of my pc so here are some pictures of my grafic card with the new waterblocks on it.
to remove the old cooling block I needed to remove like 1000000000 screws and they were hiden so it was difficult to do, but i did it. After the instalation of the new blocks I try'd to fid it in but the back block was touching my memory so after FU%^*&#%&^#CK I disided to cut a little pease out of my waterblock plexy glass top to make it fit. also I mounted some other stuff in my case like:
    - motherboard
    - dvd player
    - watercooling hoses exept 1 because I came short on rvs hose clambs
    - powerbutten
    - fullport

    grafic card stripped:

    top side with waterblock:

    back side:

the part i neded to cut out:

the card in place you can see that the memory is hiding in the plexy glass:p

Looks great, turned out really nice. Cables are a bit of a mess but you can't help that in an all clear case. What it you made the mobo tray from black plexi or front the existing piece? That would make cable management really easy. Or make some cable mounts from plastic or alu. Sleeved cables look good when they aren't messy.

I totally agree, but why put so much time and effort into planning and building it if you aren't going to put an equal amount into cable management. I think that if you clean up the cables, it will really fit with the clean look of the case, and will make your hard work stand out even more. Just my 2 cents...don't mean any offence ;) (lol just noticed it rhymes:blush:)

I voted for this mod, and I absolutely love how clean it is in design, but the wires don't bother me a bit. I did a case for a customer a year back that had messy inside wiring w/ watercooling, and it looked great, and I think it looks great in this case too. Kind of like the yin to the yang. Like orac3 or the matrix mod, the messy wires kinda fill it all in. And it does have a cool... industrial-machine kinda look to it, and the wires really help with that look. The only thing I would change is to wrap those unwrapped wires.:thumb:
