That's a lovely piece of work there!

Are you leaving the bottom flat or putting a keel on, as it will be difficult to go in a decent straight line / be very tippy...

The picture is it in a very rough shape. I need to fold bottom more and that will make it pointed more for tracking.

What boat you got? I myself have a Dagger G-Force 6.1, 'cheap' and cheerful.

Impressive stuff with the construction btw, hope it continues to go well zachjowi.

robson twintip is my little piece of spastic fun plastic, although its getting rather battered from too many cartweels and floops in shallow water

Thats a really phenomenal looking piece of work there! I bet you can't wait to get it out on the water.

Is it just me, or is there always that something special about using something you've built yourself?

Reminded me what my dad said about his and his friend's kayak project.. They made it of glass fiber and had to deal with the chemicals involved:

"The kayak-project cost me half of my brain cells which definitely helped in getting along with you."

What a cheeky buggar he is.. Runs in the family I guess.

Keep up the good work, it's always a pleasure to see when people can MAKE things.

I agree withe the grp - I laminated a plywood hovercraft hull a few years ago in a tiny shed. You don't notice at the time, but suddenly find yourself doing odd things without realising it afterwards :worried:
