    the funny thing is that the Blue kayak which is 12' and also owned by me cost more than the materials to make the 17' wood kayak.

    beautifull boat i'd love to have a go :D, the blue boat is a wilderness systems pungo right? However much it cost you, it would probably be twice that here in the uk

    Do you have any pics of how you made the deck? it looks curved but also looks like its in one piece, I'd love to know how you did it.
