Back Right Side Case​

I have started work today on the Right side of the case back, my work today will be putting the psu in so I know sizes, drilling and inserting, designing and making a Perspex back panel ☺

To start I will tell you why I put the psu in, for a few reasons 1 so can do all my power holes, 2 I can see the size of the thing for the divider and 3 because of the Perspex back panel, i.e. so I know where the power go’s in ETC.

Then I marked on the back Panel 4 holes for switch’s. These switches are for the LED’s. Next I drilled theses holes and put the switch’s in. and for me doing this I know where to mount the junction box’s and to help when I’m designing my Perspex .

Here Is the design of the Perspex that will go on the back of the case

It has room for two fans, watercooling draining, 4 holes for switch’s, a PSU cut out (not in drawing will do later ) and a Window or mesh window, hav’nt decided yet.

I have modified the design a little bit when I drew it out on the Perspex I added, the psu holes (just the vents for now), changed it to 80mm as there is not much room and changed the design of the switch panel ☺ which means I will have to re mark out the back panel of the case .
I got half of the psu section done ☺ just need to sort out the power in and switch’s etc

So after all that I drilled the last hole and yet again I cracked the dame freaking Perspex, after all day spent on it, wet and dried, filed and it was near perfect. Owell ☹ the next one will be better [/center]

 

Shame about the plexi cracking. I find i you clamp it down and go really slowly it never cracks...for me anyway.

 

i always have it clamped down, and the problem was what i did in black zipper is tat the drill ran out of battery so when i changed it, it had more power and p pressed to hard i think

 

Oh, unlucky mate. I just switch my drill to low when I am drilling plexi. Then I get angry at it cos it takes so long to drill other stuff until I remember to put it back on high.

 

LAMOROFL sounds about right , shame i didn't get a picture of my destruction when i went mad there was a mess after, believe me .....

 

Just had a look at this, looks like its coming along great.

TBH, I'd try and do it properly. You'll feel much better about yourself having known you've done it properly. I'm sure there will be other competitions in the coming months too

 

but i want the case that the only problem and my friends on WCUK hardly have compo's but once the two projects i got going Finnish my mod that will get me famous will start
