Wildly expensive and it's motif makes it look like it was purchased with redeemable Kool-Aid points. Don't they have any smaller-diameter, cheaper variants?
It's the other way around: matte surfaces absorb the glare and diffuse it; gloss reflects it away, linearly.

Who cares what panel type it is as long as it is sufficient to the needs of the user?

A PC Monitor snob? What next? Someone who'll only ever buy cases made from 100% aluminium?

    Meh!

The orange is too much, can't stand glossy screens (they actually give me headaches) and the price is ridiculous. Nah, I'll stick with my G2400W thank you.

    Good review though.

Yeah, you would think. I have always liked matte for this reason. But after getting a glossy I find it actually has a clearer picture when under indirect light. The matte (or at least my matte screen) whitewashes and spreads the light source over the entire screen and in my place I cant use that screen for 1-2 hours in the day. The glossy does not strain my eyes during the same time of day, same location. Just my experience. Yes, I am a screen snob. I am not staring at my case all day. So the most important peripherals are mice and screens for me.

I bought myself a G15 keyboard (orange) and I also had an Antec 1200 with all the blue lights kinda bothered me, though blue and orange fit well I went with the orange theme. Replaced the LED's of the fans of my Antec 1200 so the case was oranage. Was looking for a new monitor for ages then I saw one of these things going on OCUK, I had to buy one just for the colour.
