HTC's offerings, I quite like the look of the touch diamond and touch pro, also the Samsung Omnia looks ok although it would seemingly be cheaper to buy the moon.
...you know, the new iPhone actually isn't a bad phone at all. And that's coming from someone who doesn't like Apple on principle.
I like the touch diamond (gonna get one myself soon yay) but the touch pro looks better, its basically a diamond + slide out keyboard and a bit better hardware specs. Unfortunately I don't know who stocks it, I'm sure you can find it unlocked somewhere though (although it will cost about as much as going to the moon AND coming back)
I disagree, I have that phone. One of the best phone's I've ever had. Fantastic camera, responsive screen.
i concure with Cabe64, i have the viewty and love it, took some getting used to but find it ace now, has some fantastic utilities on it!
Another vote for the iPhone. But with any touchscreen device, spend a little trying it out in a store to see if it works for you, no matter what you decide.
Wow, the HTC diamond has just inspired me into getting a new phone, shame its so damn expensive! I'll just stick to my Nokia 6300....
Allow me to quantify. The email client can only cope with 300 messages then it stops, rubbish, every phone i've had for the last 5 years copes better (rolling periods etc). The web browser while good has a few niggly issues, the whole phone can randomly freeze when entering data in a form, the phone (or the network) has real trouble sticking to 3g mostly falling back to gprs. The camera takes terrible noisy pictures in bad light and badly white balanced photos in good light (but i didn't buy a camera). Video play back is ok but its a slightly odd size when converting, mp3 sounds a bit hollow even with good 'phones. The short cut screen is non customisable and some useful features are tucked away (4 clicks for the calculator). The PIM features are good and the screens not bad. The list goes on and is generally added to when i go to look for something. Actually having written this, its not so much a bad phone just vastly inferior to my previous phones.
I've yet to find a phone with a better touchscreen than the iPhone, just can't beat the fact that you can use your fingers so accurately on it
